I am a 55 year old man who started sailing at Wilh. Wilhelmsen in 1981 as a cookapprentice. I have been at I.M. Skaugen (Norgas), Bergesen dy, Olav Pedersen and Star Shipping. Finished my sailingtime complete in year 2000, but been very interested in shipping since late early 80's.

The website www.norskeskip.com will try to present some of the known oand unknown Norwegian shippingcompanies that have existed through times. The Norwegian merchant fleet have always been one of the top ones in the world, and today it's a highly specialized fleet.
